William Carter is a Senior Project Engineer with Ingenics Consulting Group. He has over 30 years of manufacturing experience, primarily safety-critical product design for heavy industry and automotive manufacturers. His 3D modeling and design work for the automotive industry includes creating a fueling recess solution based on a Chobani yoghurt cup he had for lunch that day. Additive manufacturing, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and AI machine learning are his current projects. Generative design and 3D printing are the things he does for fun. He has two orange tabby kitten berserkers who have discovered how to pull his air vents out of the floor, so he is currently designing a cat-proof floor register.
